Pangea for a Universal Human Nation

Pangea for a Universal Human Nation is a social nonprofit organization (‘ONLUS’ in Italian) which conforms to New Humanism’ standards and is inspired by a humanist perspective of men, life and culture, since it has a need for a social, cultural and spiritual renewal of human beings both from an intellectual and practical point of view. It is aimed at promoting integration of underprivileged people in school, work and social life and it mainly addresses older people, children, foreigners and women, then widening its action to other disadvantaged individuals in order to foster a general human, cultural and spiritual development. Courses, seminars, discussions, meetings and conferences organized by Pangea are intended to disseminate information about its purposes and are followed by the publication of related documents. This is a nonprofit organization which solely pursues social solidarity and both conceiving and support of social and cultural projects; it is involved in training activities for socially and economically disadvantaged people all over the country. To this purpose Pangea proposes to:     * perform activities aimed at helping a wholesome and well-balanced psychophysical and spiritual growth for all-aged people;     * build public libraries in order to help cultural training of underprivileged social classes;     * build and run public haunts, where people can talk each other and form small exchange and study communities;     * offer scholarships to young poor people and perform marketing activities in the field of publishing and AV industry, according to law in force;     * enhance artistic expression as an instrument for inner growth by means of various artistic workshops and courses, in order to help social inclusion of disadvantaged people;     * favor relationships between peoples and countries and promote the arousal of social and global responsibility by means of specific intercultural training activities open to all-national unprivileged people. Attigliano Park represents one of the most significant projects by Pangea; it is regarded as a place of peace and meeting of minds and consists of a Hall and different structures helping people to get in deep touch with themselves and to work up a feeling of tolerance and positive communication. This Association is supported by member subscription fees and both financial aids and donations of goods. Indeed, section 25 of Association’ statute states: “Spontaneous funding and donations are accepted by the Directorial Board, which decides about their utilization according to Association’s purposes established in the statute…” (see ‘Tax breaks’ section).
